COVID UPDATE: Unfortunately we are unable to provide any bus transportation for the 2020 camp season. Thank you for your understanding.
Parents have the option of delivering their children directly to Camp Dart-Lo each day. Parents are advised to arrive between 8:20AM and 8:40AM. At the end of the day, campers will be available for pick-up at between 4:10PM and 4:30PM. For ease of convenience, camp staff have set up designated drive-through lanes (near the Lodge) where a staff member will greet you at your car and escort your camper(s) safely to and from the Lodge. For families that have listed Unauthorized Parties in their account, ID will be checked daily. Approved identification includes a driver’s license, military identification, state issued ID or passport.
In response to the needs of our working families, Camp Dart-Lo will extend hours in 2017 outside the normal camp day. Staff is limited so arrangements must be made in advance by speaking with Camp Staff on the first day of each session. Staff will be on hand to receive campers at 7:45am; all campers must be picked up by 5:15pm.
The Camp Dart-Lo bus is a convenient way to get your kids to camp. Camp Staff accompany our campers on the bus in order to create a safe and fun environment. Bus service is not available for Sandbox Campers under 40 pounds. Please review the following guidelines with your child to prepare them for a fun and safe ride.
Our staff will check photo identification at pick-up on the first day for the safety of our campers; authorized parties will be asked to present picture ID every day. Approved identification includes a driver’s license, military identification, state issued ID or passport. For families that have listed Unauthorized Parties in their account, ID will be checked daily.
If you miss your child’s bus stop, call (509) 466-2312 as soon as possible; proceed to the next drop-off/pick-up location. At the end of the day, if you have missed all previous bus stops your child will be taken to the Camp Fire office where a counselor will stay with your child until you arrive. In these cases, you will be invoiced for childcare fees.
If a camper must leave early, written permission must come from a parent or guardian. The written permission should indicate the time of departure and the name of person authorized to pick up the camper.
We must account for every child each day. If your child is going to be absent or late to camp, please send a note with your child the day before or contact the Camp Fire office directly. If we have no information about your child’s absence, we must call to verify their location to ensure that they are safe and well.
